About this application
The application requests approval to install the following infrastructure at 158 Tindal Avenue, Beeliar:
Monopole (30m height) with a triangle headframe
15 panel antennas (28.5m and 29.5m heights)
21 remote radio units mounted on the headframe
Ancillary equipment such as meter panels, sub-mains, security fencing and antenna mounts.
The application proposes the facility will:
Be owned by Axicom, and host Vodafone and Optus telecommunications equipment.
Provide improved Vodafone and Optus 3G and 4G mobile and data services
Establish 5G services in Beeliar and the surrounding areas.
Be accessed via the existing access track off Tindal Avenue:
the existing access gate is to be realigned one metre from the property boundary fence line, in line with the existing access track along the southern property boundary.
a new 6m wide crossover will be installed to facilitate access.

Telecommunications Act 1997
The Act regulates telecommunications carrier activities and gives certain powers to carriers to undertake maintenance and installation works. Council approval is required when new telecommunications structures are being installed, as per the Telecommunications (Low-Impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (LIFD).
