Why is the City seeking feedback on pedestrian needs on Sain Road?
The community living and working in the City of Cockburn is growing and infrastructure is necessary to allow pedestrians to move safely around the City.

What is the City's role in providing infrastructure such as footpaths?
The City of Cockburn exists to provide services to its community. Some of these services are provided by infrastructure assets.
The City has acquired infrastructure assets by ‘purchase’, by contract, construction by council staff and by donation of assets constructed by developers and others to meet increased levels of service.
Cockburn Council’s goal in managing infrastructure assets is to meet the required level of service in the most cost effective manner for present and future consumers.

Is there a footpath on Sain Road ?
There is no footpath along Sain Road connecting King Street and Coogee Plaza. The footpath ends at the intersection of King Street/Sain Road. The footpaths in front of, and behind, Coogee Plaza do not continue along Sain Road.
