Tempest Park is used year-round by community cricket and football (Australian Rules Football) clubs.
How is the project being funded?
Funding was approved in the 2022/23 financial year budget to complete a needs assessment, concept design and feasibility study process.
Following completion of the needs assessment, concept design and feasibility study, the City expects to present a Business Case to Council.
Pending Council's support of the Business Case, the project will be incorporated into infrastructure plans for future delivery and funding opportunities will be sought.
