Consultation has concluded
Residents in Bibra Lake, North Lake and South Lake and other interested people were invited to have input into the Lakes Revitalisation Strategy which covered housing density and other future needs.
The Lakes Revitalisation Scheme Amendment applied to the suburbs of South Lake, Bibra Lake (East) and parts of North Lake, and various residential lots within South Lake, Bibra Lake (East) and parts of North Lake.
Applicant: City of Cockburn Owner: Various residential property land owners
The initial recommended actions under the Strategy focussed on advancing the recoding of land consistent with the density plans of the Strategy. This was the purpose of this Scheme amendment, being to modify the Residential Density Codes over the residential properties within South Lake, Bibra Lake (East) and parts of North Lake.

At its meeting on 12 October 2017 (OCM Minutes 12/10/17) Council resolved to recommend the approval of the Amendment to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).
