New Cockburn Coast Sports Field

Consultation has concluded

We heard you, North Coogee! A new sporting field for the Cockburn Coast is coming... Have your say to help us shape the space.

Background

In 2018 we invited the community to have their say on our Western Suburbs Sporting Precinct Study. As part of this, there was strong support for a new sporting field to be built in North Coogee.

$1.5 million has been allocated to the delivery of Stage 1, which will cover the cost of essentials such as bore, irrigation, conduits and the sporting field. Additional features will be installed in Stage 2, when further funding becomes available.

The reserve will be designed so it can accommodate both oval and rectangular field sports. Whilst the space can be leased by sporting clubs, the reserve will also be accessible to the wider community and, at certain times, future students of the adjacent school.

The City wants to know what future features you think should be prioritised for delivery that will best suit the space.
