A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our consultation about where to place the new shelter and barbeque at Kurrajong Park. Throughout July and August 2025, we asked the community to help choose between two possible locations.

The project’s webpage received 371 visits, and 37 local community members shared their thoughts.

Our community told us that:

• 54 percent of respondents preferred Location A
  
• 24 percent of respondents preferred Location B
• 16 percent of respondents did not want new amenities at Kurrajong Park
  
• 3 percent of respondents were unsure
• 3 percent of respondents did not have a preference of location

What’s happening now?

Based on your feedback, the City has installed a barbeque and shelter in Kurrajong Park at location A.
