Background

At its meeting held on 12 December 2019, Council resolved to adopt modifications to the following Local Planning Policies subject to community consultation in accordance with Clause 4 (1) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

Local Planning Policy 1.3 Ancillary Dwellings (LPP1.3)

Council is seeking to combine all policies relating to Special Purpose Dwellings (including LPP1.4 Aged or Dependent Persons Dwellings and LPP1.5 Single Bedroom Dwellings) into LPP1.3 and introduce a new Special Purpose Dwelling – Small Dwelling). View the revised draft Policy here.

Local Planning Policy 4.6 Cockburn Coast Design Guidelines for Rob Jetty & Emplacement Crescent Precincts (LPP4.6)

Council is seeking to modify the development requirements for Lot 1 Bennett Avenue North Coogee from ‘High Density’ to ‘Mixed Residential’. View the revised draft Policy here.

    At its meeting on 11 March 2021, Council resolved to adopt modifications to its Local Planning Policy 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5.

    Council combined all policies relating to Special Purpose Dwellings (LPP1.3 Ancillary Dwellings, LPP1.4 Aged or Dependent Persons Dwellings and LPP1.5 Single Bedroom Dwellings) into LPP1.3, a new Local Planning Policy 1.3 (LPP1.3) - Special Purpose Dwellings.
