Modifications to Local Planning Policies 1.3 and 4.6

Have your say on proposed modifications to Local Planning Policies


At its meeting held on 12 December 2019, Council resolved to adopt modifications to the following Local Planning Policies subject to community consultation in accordance with Clause 4 (1) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

Local Planning Policy 1.3 Ancillary Dwellings (LPP1.3)

Council is seeking to combine all policies relating to Special Purpose Dwellings (including LPP1.4 Aged or Dependent Persons Dwellings and LPP1.5 Single Bedroom Dwellings) into LPP1.3 and introduce a new Special Purpose Dwelling – Small Dwelling).

Local Planning Policy 4.6 Cockburn Coast Design Guidelines for Rob Jetty & Emplacement Crescent Precincts (LPP4.6)

Council is seeking to modify the development requirements for Lot 1 Bennett Avenue North Coogee from ‘High Density’ to ‘Mixed Residential’.

Outcome:

At its meeting held on 12 March 2020, Council resolved to adopt modifications to Local Planning Policy 4.6 Cockburn Coast Design Guidelines for Rob Jetty & Emplacement Crescent Precincts (LPP4.6) in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
