Omeo Park in North Coogee underwent a major make-over in September 2025. The park got a new, contemporary design picnic shelter, public toilet and changing room on the corner of Napoleon and Socrates Parades. Since people from all over the City of Cockburn love Omeo Park and its easy access to the Coogee Maritime Trail and Coogee Beach, the City is proposing to add a BBQ to compliment the park's amenities and help visitors and locals make the most of this beautiful space.

Would you like to have BBQs in Omeo Park?

Your feedback will help the City understand how the community uses Omeo Park and how a BBQ might support that use. Following the assessment of community feedback, the City will decide whether to proceed with installing a BBQ within the new picnic shelter. Funding is available for installation in early 2026, subject to this review.
