Background

The City of Cockburn invites your submissions for a mixed use development at 840 North Lake Road, Cockburn Central.

The overall development includes a three storey building, landscaping and 62 car parking bays (including 12 car stackers) of which three uses are proposed:

  • Fast Food Outlet
  • Medical Centre; and
  • Place of Worship.

The Fast Food Outlet use has the following characteristics:

  • 20m2 on ground floor;
  • Currently noted as a Coffee Shop;
  • Takeaway only; and
  • Generally 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.

The Medical Centre use has the following characteristics:

  • General Practice and Specialist Medical;
  • 500m2 over two floors;
  • Eight consulting rooms over two floors; and
  • Generally 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.

The Place of Worship use has the following characteristics:

  • 800m2 with two main rooms;
  • Kitchen facility;
  • 7am to 9.30pm, 7 days a week;
  • Maximum of 20 worshipers at any one time on Monday to Thursday;
  • Maximum of 60 worshipers at any one time on Friday; and
  • Maximum of 100 worshipers at any one time on Saturday and Sunday.
