Background

The City of Cockburn invites your submissions for Telecommunications Infrastructure at 161 (Lot 10) Henderson Road, Munster. This application will be determined by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

The proposal has the following characteristics;

  • A 34m monopole (38m overall);
  • 18x panel antennae on a triangular headframe;
  • 36x radio remote ratio units (fixed to headframe);
  • Equipment cabin at base of tower;
  • Security fenced around the 49m2 lease area; and
  • The maximum Electromagnetic Emissions level calculated for the proposed systems at this site is 6.35% of the public exposure limit.

Furthermore, the subject site is reserved for a ‘Public Purpose - Water Authority of WA’. This proposed tower is south of both the existing 30m high Telstra tower and the 45m high triangular tower.
