Background

The City of Cockburn is seeking feedback on a proposed Structure Plan for Lot 176 (No. 119) Hammond Road, Success.

The proposed Structure Plan seeks to create 10% as a future park, with the remainder of land to be used as future residential lots with direct access to future local roads. The local roads are proposed to connect into the existing local road network.

    Thank you for your submissions. The public comment period closed on 26 February 2019.

    At its meeting held on 9 May 2019, Council resolved to support the proposal, subject to modifications (OCM 09/05/2019). The Structure Plan was referred to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) for their determination.

    The WAPC approved the Structure Plan on 4 October 2019. The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage website lists the approved Structure Plan.
