Background
The City is considering a proposal to name an existing area of open space at Lot 8, No 342 Yangebup Road Yangebup. This is located next to Mater Christi Catholic Primary School.
The proposed name is Yandjet Park, which is the Nyungar name for the bullrush plant found locally within Lake Yangebup.
Proposed park names are considered according to the City’s APD88 ‘Geographical Naming’; Landgate’s ‘Policies and Standards for Geographical Naming in Western Australia’; and Part 2 (Naming of Parks and Reserves) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

Submissions can be lodged online using the submission form below by 31 May 2019.
