Background

Terra Rosa Consulting have completed a heritage study of Dixon Park Reserve and surrounds, known as the Hamilton Hill Swamp Precinct. The City of Cockburn thanks all the residents who supplied stories, photos or materials and provided assistance to the heritage study.

This study was driven by the Hamilton Hill community, whose efforts secured State Government funding from the Office of Heritage 'Local Projects, Local Jobs' fund and the Honourable Minister Simone Frances McGurk, MLA for the Fremantle electorate. This study is supported by the City of Cockburn and the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage.
