Consultation has concluded


Within 10 years, the City of Cockburn will have an extra 6,000 older residents. How we plan for the future is important. Consultation on how we can the City of Cockburn an age friendly community was held in April 2016.

The City of Cockburn's new Age Friendly Strategy was launched during Seniors Week on Monday 7 November 2016 at the Cockburn Seniors Centre. Thanks to all the participants who provided input. The strategy aims to promote active ageing and build communities which are inclusive of people’s changing needs as they get older. Copies are available at Cockburn Libraries, Administration building or can be downloaded from the City’s website.
