Consultation has concluded

Background

Beale Park is the City of Cockburn's premier soccer facility. As an active sporting reserve, it plays an important role in attracting and growing community sport. It also provides open space for locals to enjoy.

In 2018, community feedback was gathered to help shape the Community, Sport and Recreation Facilities Plan and Western Suburbs Sporting Precinct Study. As a result, the following sporting upgrades were identified as priorities and incorporated into a high level draft master plan, which was approved by Council in 2018:

  • More car parking and improved access and egress
  • A new multi-purpose sporting and community facility
  • Re-orientation of sporting fields
  • Accessible toilets
  • Lighting upgrades to increase the area and times available for sport

The next step is to commence the concept design. To do so, we need your feedback to shape the new playground, public artwork and other park furniture that is important to your visit to Beale Park.
