Coolbellup Traffic Speeds

Important: The City will resurface part of Coolbellup Avenue in January 2019. This is not related to the traffic calming proposal outlined below. There is no funding for the traffic calming proposal yet.

The City of Cockburn has developed for your feedback a traffic calming proposal on the section of Coolbellup Avenue between Winterfold Road and Waverley Road, Coolbellup.

This is in response to community requests to address the traffic speeds on this road.

The proposal includes the installation of a T-Junction slow point at intersections with Florizel Street and Archidamus Road, and a pedestrian crossing island at the bus stop south of Emilia Street.

The City also proposes to plant a number of trees in the middle of the road as landscaping.
