The City of Cockburn has received an application for a display village and sales office at the Glen Iris Estate. Comments are invited from the from the community.

Proposal Details

The subject site is at 139L Imlah Court, Jandakot (Glen Iris Estate). This proposal requires public advertising, as a Display Village is a 'Use Not Listed' under the City's Town Planning Scheme No.3. The subdivision of the residential estate has already been approved.

The development will be located north of Berrigan Drive - refer to the “Sales Office Plan” within the Document Library for the specific location

In accordance with Clause 64 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015, 'Use not Listed' requires the opportunity for community comments.

The Display Village and Sales Office has the following characteristics:

  • Located north of Berrigan Drive (refer to the “Sales Office Plan” within the Document Library for more information)
  • Approval period of six years
  • Sales Office operating between1-5pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Display Homes operating hours noon-5pm, Monday to Sunday

Design plans related to this application can be found in the Document Library.

This application relates to the use of the land as a display village only and not the design of individual display homes as this will need to be done separately.
