The City of Cockburn has received a Planning Application for a retrospective laboratory and covered walkway. Submissions on this development application are invited from the community.

About this application

This application is seeking formal approval for a previously constructed laboratory and covered walkway.

Key aspects of the proposal are as follows:

• The laboratory building consists of:
  • 2 x offices
  • 1 x large lab area
  • 1 x small lab area
  • 1 x germination room
  • Lunch room; and
  • Storage of samples to be undertaken within an external sea container and outbuilding (shed).
• The purpose of the lab is to test samples of products produced at the subject site.
• Some testing of soils provided by external customers will also occur.
• The lab is contained within an existing structure.
