Background

The City of Cockburn invites your submissions for a Use Not Listed - Hospital (Private Mental Health Facility) at 11 and 19 Legacy Way, Cockburn Central.

The proposal includes the following:

  • 45 bed accommodation for inpatients;
  • Procedure Suite and Therapy Group Rooms;
  • Specialist Consulting Spaces;
  • External Therapy Garden; and,
  • Total height of 24m (4 storeys plus plant roof).

The proposal varies the total number of parking bays that are required to be provided by a total of 68 (108 in lieu of 176), with 74 bays proposed to be constructed on an adjacent lot. Additionally, a Hospital land use is one that requires referral for public comment under the provisions of the Cockburn Central West Structure Plan Land Use Table.
