The City of Cockburn has received a Planning Application for the Retrospective Change of Use from Use Not Listed (Caravan Repairs) to Use Not Listed (Community Purpose) at Unit 1, 28 Hammond Road, Cockburn Central and now invites your submissions.

About this application

This application is seeking retrospective approval of a change of use to a Community Purpose.

The proposed operations include the provision of services that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of the local Aboriginal community.

Key aspects of the proposal are as follows:

  • Proposed hours of operation: 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • Proposed site use: Portions to be used for the provision of healthy lifestyle programs including group fitness and one on one training. The remainder of the site shall be used for office and storage spaces.
  • A total of 28 staff members to attend the site at any one time.
  • Approximately 13 patrons to attend the site at any one time.
  • Nine (9) parking bays have been allocated for the exclusive use unit 1, five (5) of which will be used for the parking of vehicles related to the land use.
