Background
The City of Cockburn has received a planning application for a Child Care Premises at Lot 503 (#11) and Lot 504 (#13) Argong Chase, Cockburn Central and you are invited to make a submission.
The proposal has the following characteristics:
Located on land zoned ‘Light and Service Industry’, in which a Child Care Premises is an ‘A’ use, requiring advertising;
A single storey building on two lots with a total site area of 2,801m2;
A gross floor area of 874.9m2 is proposed which includes play areas, kitchen, office, staff room; laundry, storeroom, reception and entry foyer;
1,015m2 of outdoor play area;
A maximum 88 children are proposed and a minimum of 20 full time staff are proposed at any one time;
29 car parking bays are proposed on-site;
Proposed operating hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday;
Landscaping.
The application is accompanied by a Traffic Impact Statement, Environmental Acoustic Report and justification report provided by the applicant.View these documents in the Document Library.
