Background

The City of Cockburn has received a planning application for a Child Care Premises at 125 Mayor Road, Lake Coogee, and you are invited to make a submission.

The proposal has the following characteristics:

  • Located on land zoned ‘Residential’, in which a Child Care Premises is an ‘A’ use, requiring advertising;
  • A single storey building with a total site area of 2,494m2;
  • A gross floor area of 528m2 is proposed;
  • A maximum 84 children and 15 full time staff are proposed at any one time;
  • 22 car parking bays are proposed on-site;
  • Proposed operating hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday;
  • Acoustic treatment; and
  • Landscaping.

The application is accompanied by a Traffic Impact Statement, Environmental Acoustic Report and justification report provided by the applicant. View these documents in the Document Library.

The City of Cockburn is not the determining body for this application and this consultation provides an opportunity for comment only.
