The City of Cockburn has a Joint Development Assessment Panel application for Warehouse and Industry-Light/Service Units at 85 & 87 Mell Road, Spearwood. Submissions on the proposal are invited from the community.

The site is zoned ‘Development’ under the City of Cockburn Town Planning Scheme No. 3 TPS 3 (TPS 3) and designated for 'Mixed Business' under the Packham North District Structure Plan. View the Packham North District Structure Plan.

  • Four (4) Warehouse Units of 167m2 floor area each, totalling 668m2;
  • 13 Industry-Light/Service Units, ranging in size from 73m2 to 300m2, totalling 2,

  • 13 Industry-Light/Service Units, ranging in size from 73m2 to 300m2, totalling 2, 367m2;
  • 85 car parking bays are proposed on-site;
  • Each unit proposes an internal delivery bay;
  • Landscaping is proposed on-site and upon the verge

    Thank you for your interest in this development application. This application was advertised for public comment between 27 October and 18 November 2021.

    The City received no submissions from the public during the advertising period. The application was assessed under the relevant planning framework and a recommendation from the City was provided to the Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP). The proposal approved by the JDAP on 11 April 2022.
