Bike along the Beach

I rode the City of Cockburn electric bike to inspect the bike paths between South Beach and Coogee Beach when I first started working at the City of Cockburn as TravelSmart Officer in February. I was amazed at how close our offices are to the beach and how pleasant it was to ride along the coast. I saw so many people riding or walking along the paths. Quite a few people do it whenever they can - just to clear the cobwebs and recharge their batteries. We now have a bike counter installed on the path so we can find out how many people ride each day rain or shine. The path is away from traffic so unless you are walking or riding you don't see how many people are out there.
