The City seeks your comments about a proposal to provide residential zoning for Lot 812 (No. 8) Fawcett Road, Munster.

The draft Structure Plan allows for residential with a density code of primarily R-MD-40 and a relatively small portion R-MD-30. It also proposes an area of Parks and Recreation, a local road and aims to secure and embellish the ‘regional reserve’ over Lot 811 which is to be grassed by the applicant and ultimately maintained (following handover) by the City for public enjoyment/ recreation.

STRUCTURE PLAN AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION

Plans and documents explaining the proposed Structure Plan are available to view here or at the City of Cockburn Administration Building, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood during office hours (Monday to Fridays, 8.30am – 4.30pm) up to and including 11 September 2018.

Submissions can be lodged online below, by email to stratplanning@cockburn.wa.gov.au or in writing to the CEO on or before 4pm 11 September 2018.

Submissions should include the Structure Plan name, the property affected and details of the submission. They can be addressed to:

Please note: The structure plan is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal. The advertising of the structure plan does not necessarily indicate any formal support of the proposal by the City of Cockburn or the Western Australian Planning Commission.

Please be aware that should you make a submission, Council requires a Schedule of Submissions to be prepared which includes a submitter’s name and address. This forms part of a Council Agenda report, which is available for public viewing (published in hard copy and on the City’s website). Please clearly state in your submission if you want your details to be kept confidential.
