Background
The City of Cockburn is committed to sustainability and climate change action. We’re always introducing and expanding initiatives that help the City reduce its impact on the environment.
The City is planning to partner with a third-party supplier and operator to install, own, operate, and maintain electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for public use across the City. Service fees would be charged to the user with costs outlined on the stations.
Before we commence the expression of interest process, we want to hear from you, on your EV usage, your charging habits and what you find convenient for charging your EV.
The installation of EV charging stations forms part of the City’s Climate Change Strategy 2020-2030 and the City’s commitment to being a leader in climate resilience and sustainability.
How to participate
We want your spark of genius before we plug in any plans! Tell us about your EV usage. Feedback closes 4pm, Tuesday 18 November 2025.
