Background
North Coogee is buzzing with families, and we’ve heard loud and clear that older kids are keen for more fun things to do close to home. So, we’re planning a brand‑new playground feature for Gage Park and we want you to help shape it.
Gage Park already has plenty to enjoy: shady spots to relax, a BBQ area, footpaths, and a playground for the little ones. Now it’s time to add something exciting for older children, and your voice will help decide what that looks like.
What we need from you:
Take a look at the playground options (A, B, or C) and the two possible locations in the park. Then cast your vote for the combo you think will make Gage Park even better.
Your feedback will guide:
- Which playground equipment structure we install
- Where it should go within the park
Once the community has had its say, we’ll get to work planning for installation in the 2026–2027 financial year.
Why it matters:
This is your neighbourhood, your park, and your chance to help create a space that reflects what local families want. A few minutes of your time can help shape a spot that kids will enjoy for years.
Don't miss out to have your say on how kids play!
Jump in, share your thoughts, and help us bring something awesome to Gage Park.
Feedback closes 4pm, Sunday 29 March 2026.
