Glen Iris New Entry Statement

Consultation has concluded

The City of Cockburn is reinstating a landscaped entry statement for Glen Iris.

Now that the Berrigan Drive roadworks have been completed, the City's Parks Services has installed the new entry statement at the intersection of Dean Road and Berrigan Drive, Jandakot.

As shown on the attached concept landscape plan, key elements of the design include:

  • A butterfly sculpture to reflect the Glen Iris logo.
  • Mass shrub planting around sump area to screen the colourbond fence.
  • A grove of mature grass-trees (already planted)
  • Feature patterned gravel treatment with aluminium edging.
  • Turf re-instatement on Dean Road verge.
