To celebrate the launch of our new Comment on Cockburn website and encourage our community to have a say on a range of projects in Cockburn, we’re giving away two $80 Coogee Common vouchers!
  • The competition is open to all people (over the age of 18 years) who live and work in the City of Cockburn.
  • To be eligible to win, entrants must either:
    • Successfully create a new account on Comment on Cockburn, or
    • Update their personal details on an existing Comment on Cockburn account
  • Entries are limited to one per person.
  • Promoters’ decision is final, and no negotiation will be entered into at any time throughout this competition.
  • Any questions regarding this competition can be made by contacting the Community Engagement Coordinator on 9411 3444.
  • Competition entries must be received by Friday 1 November 2024 at 5pm.
  • The prize, one for a new user and one for an updated account, will be chosen at random using a random number generator.
  • The winner will be notified by email. It is the winner’s responsibility to collect their prize.
  • The prize for both categories is an $80 Coogee Common voucher. Coogee Common is a restaurant and local business within the City of Cockburn, located at 371 Cockburn Rd, Coogee WA 6166.
  • The draw will occur at the City of Cockburn Administration building at 9 Coleville Crescent Spearwood at 10am on Monday 4 November 2024.
  • Should the winner not be able to be contacted after two weeks from the draw, on the 18 November 2024, a new winner will be selected.
  • The City of Cockburn reserves the right to defer, cancel, or disqualify any entrant, winner, or attendee of the competition as it sees fit and without reason or notice.
  • The winner may be asked their photo taken and published in any City of Cockburn publication and/or Community Newspaper or associated website.
  • Employees of the City of Cockburn and immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  • The prizes must be taken as supplied and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the prize winner(s).
  • All information is handled in accordance with the City’s Privacy Policy, and the City will not use the information the entrant provides for anything other than for the purposes of administering the competition.
