What specific amendments are being proposed?

    • General restructuring of the text into sections that allow for more easy reading
    • At the subdivision stage for four or more lots with common property:
      •  Requirement for a communal bin store area to be indicated 
      • Clarification that the communal bin store area shall be one square metre in size per dwelling, with a two metre minimum dimension 
      • Requirement for a Waste Management Plan  
    • At the development application stage, where there are four or more lots with common property, and where applications for dwellings are submitted individually, the first dwelling shall provide a Waste Management Plan. 
    • Clarification that waste chutes are not permitted.


    What types of development does this policy not apply to?

    This policy does not apply to Single Houses or Grouped Dwellings where there are less than four dwellings or lots proposed.
