What this workshop covered

We had a short presentation and then we turned it over to attendees to tell us their thoughts about:

1. Land uses

a) Why did you locate AMC?

b) Does your business interact with other businesses at AMC? If so, how often and in what ways?

c) Is there a value to the clustered nature of the marine/shipbuilding industries at AMC?

d) There are a number of precincts within the AMC and the land use permissibility is different in each. The City sees significant strategic value to preserving the differing precincts? What do current landowners/businesses think? Do they agree with this need?

e) Are there uses occurring which cause concern? (including possibly unapproved uses)

2. Parking

a) What is the perception about car parking required? Is there enough? Are there issues with parking for larger vehicles?

3. Infrastructure

a) Are there infrastructure gaps that need to be specifically targeted and advocated for delivery?
