The City of Cockburn is seeking feedback on proposed amendments to Local Planning Policy 3.7 - Signs and Advertising.

The City of Cockburn is proposing Policy amendments to improve clarity on the types of signage that require development approval and those that are exempt. 

The proposed amendments provide guidance on the standards that the City would generally accept for the signs that require development approval.

    Thank you for your interest in this Local Planning Policy (LPP) amendment. The proposed amendments were advertised for public comment between 21 October 2021 and 11 November 2021. The City received zero (0) submissions on this matter.

    The proposed amendments was then presented to the Delegated Authorities Policies & Position Statements (DAPPs) panel on 17 February 2022. The Panel resolved to accept the amendments made to LPP 5.9 and was then approved by Council at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 10 March 2022. T

    The amendments are now part of the adopted planning policy and are in effect. The policy can be viewed on the City’s website.
