Background

The City of Cockburn has received community requests for additional lighting in Mamillius Park. There are currently two overhead lights in the park, located along the footpath. The City has prepared three lighting designs considering the available budget and invites you to have your say on your preferred option.

About the lights

All lights are solar-powered LEDs that are designed to minimise light-spill and dim automatically at night when no motion is detected.

The overhead lights will be mounted to 4.5m black powder-coated columns.

The bollard lights will be mounted to 0.95m black powder-coated stems. To prevent potential vandalism, the City may consider protective caging around the light component.

The overhead lights provide more light compared to the bollards.
