Consultation has concluded
The City of Cockburn has launched its new website at http://www.cockburn.wa.gov.au/ making it quicker and easier for you to engage with us:
Easy to find information
Interactive map to find your verge and bin days, dog exercise areas, projects in your area, playgrounds and more
Search for an event in your area
Pay, register and apply online
Mobile friendly
Accessible content for all ages, abilities and disabilities
Accessible Content - WCAG 2.0 AA Compliant
Our new website will be one of the first local government websites in Australia to achieve a Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 ‘AA’ rating, which means the content can be easily accessed by all people, whatever their age, ability or disability.
This is critical for the inclusion of people who have traditionally been marginalised in our digital society as it enables them to fulfill their information needs independently. This improves the experience for all citizens in their dealings with the City.
