    Lake Coogee is expected to continue growing, with increasing numbers of families and older residents. While most homes already have good access to parks and outdoor spaces, future planning will focus on improving park quality, inclusive play opportunities, shade and amenities that support people of all ages.

    Lake Coogee has a diverse network of parks and outdoor spaces, including:

    • local parks, sporting reserves and playgrounds
    • Lake Coogee Regional Park and nearby nature reserves
    • walking and cycling opportunities through natural areas
    • dog exercise areas in both the north and south
    • parks for recreation, sport and nature-based activities
    • good access to parks across most residential areas

    Nearby regional reserves provide additional opportunities for recreation and connection with nature.
