Background

The City of Cockburn invites your submissions for a redevelopment of the Coogee Hotel and Post Office into a Restaurant and Bar, located at 371 Cockburn Road, Coogee.

The development seeks to:

  • Redevelop the former Coogee Hotel and Post Office site which is on the State Heritage Register;
  • Operate a restaurant and bar (subject to liquor licence approval) from the existing and proposed buildings/outdoor areas;
  • Install an urban farm and garden to grow produce for the restaurant;
  • Provide 31 car parking bays with vehicle access from Beach Road;
  • Accommodate 250 patrons across the site;
  • Employ approximately 40 persons in total; and
  • Operate seven days per week (operating hours vary between 7am until approximately 11.30pm)

Submissions

Submissions must be lodged online using the submission form below, by no later than 23 March 2018.
