Consultation has concluded
Background
The Port Coogee Marina has been managed by the City of Cockburn since July 2016, with the City committing to completing the marina to its full capacity. With the current significant waiting list and full occupancy of existing berths, it is recognised that the marina expansion is now required to accommodate the increasing demand.
The expansion takes form in two stages, noting that Stage 2 will be reviewed at a later date and does not form part of this application.
The proposal for Stage 1 consists of the following:
An additional 90 berths (approximate) ranging from 10m to 30m in size;
Floating jetties;
Two gatehouses/stores;
A boardwalk along the Southern perimeter of Maraboo Island; and
Re-configuration of the existing car bays on Maraboo Island to increase from 17 bays up to 27.
