Background

The City of Cockburn invites your submissions on a Local Development Plan at Lots 701, 702 & 703 Jandakot Road, Jandakot.

The proposal consists of the following characteristics:

  • The preparation of the Plan was a requirement of the Scheme Amendment to provide a specialist additional use for the site;
  • The purpose of the Plan is to elaborate on the conditions of the scheme amendment; and
  • The provisions of the Plan aim to protect the Jandakot Groundwater Mound and protect the amenity of nearby residents by providing a 100 metre rural buffer and the requirement to provide an acoustic report.

Submissions

Submissions can be lodged online below by no later than 12 February 2018.

Submissions should include the Structure Plan name, the property affected and details of the submission.

Please note: The planning application is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal. The advertising of the planning application does not indicate any formal support of the proposal by the City of Cockburn or the Western Australian Planning Commission.

Please be aware that should you make a submission, Council may require a Schedule of Submissions to be prepared which includes a submitter’s name and address. This forms part of a Council Agenda report, which is available for public viewing (published in hard copy and on the City’s website). Please clearly state in your submission if you want your details to be kept confidential.
