Background

The City seeks comments for a proposed Local Planning Policy (LPP) in relation to non-residential uses in residential zones.

The LPP provides guidance for non-residential uses in residential zones to ensure that any non-residential use in a residential zone is compatible within its setting and does not negatively impact on the amenity of residents or the area. It also provides key criteria to assist in the application of discretion for non-residential uses capable of approval.

Submissions

Submissions can be lodged online submission form below, by no later than 10 April 2018.

Please be aware that should you make a submission, Council may require a Schedule of Submissions to be prepared which includes a submitter’s name and address. This forms part of a Council Agenda report, which is available for public viewing (published in hard copy and on the City’s website). Please clearly state in your submission if you want your details to be kept confidential.
