Consultation has concluded
Background
The City is seeking comments for a proposed modification to Local Planning Policy 4.6 (LPP 4.6) in relation to the Cockburn Coast Design Guidelines for Robb Jetty and Emplacement Precincts.
The LPP provides guidance to the development and urban form (including subdivision) of the Robb Jetty and Emplacement Local Structure Plan (LSP) areas.
The proposed modification relates to a 1.66 hectare parcel of land within LandCorp’s ‘Shoreline’ estate which is owned by LandCorp and designated as Stage 3. It includes Lot 9002 Cockburn Road (balance title) and Lots 63, 64 and 65 Bennett Avenue North Coogee. The land is bounded by the proposed Bus Rapid Transit route to the east, Bennett Avenue to the west and Surada Street to the south.
The modification would allow a range of different housing options and designs including medium and high density that still achieve the overall density identified for the site under the LSP.
The agenda item with the proposed modified LPP can be viewed here.
