About this application

Key aspects of this proposal are as follows: 

  • Outdoor living area with a finished floor level more than 0.5m above lot level
  • A western upper wall setback of 1.5m, in lieu of 2m, beyond 15m from primary street boundary 
  • Display home operating hours of:
    • Wednesdays: 2pm-5pm
    • Saturdays: 1pm-5pm
    • Sundays: 12pm-5pm 
  • Display home operating duration: 2 years 
  • Increased street setback of 5.1m at the portico/entry in lieu of a maximum

    Thank you for your interest in this planning application. This proposal was advertised for public comment between 30th of November 2021 and 19 January 2022. The City received seven submissions.

    Submissions were assessed alongside the relevant planning guidelines and regulations. A copy of the submissions and a recommendation was presented to Council for consideration at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 10 February 2022. Considering the planning guidelines and feedback, this application was approved.

    Thank you for your submissions on this planning application. The public comment period was open from 30 November 2021 to 19 January 2022. A total of seven submissions were received and assessed in line with the relevant planning guidelines. Please be advised this planning application will be determined at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Thursday 10 2022. The report to Council considers all submissions received and makes a recommendation to Council; Council may or may not agree with the City’s recommendation. The City’s report and meeting agenda relating to the proposal will be made available on the City’s website.

    The meeting will be held at 7:00pm, within the Council Chambers, at the City of Cockburn offices at 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood. The public is welcome to attend.
