Submissions received during the public comment period were compiled and presented in a report to Council at their meeting on 13 May 2021.

At the meeting, Council refused the application for a facility that crushes building waste at 200 (Lots 39 and 40) Barrington Street, Bibra Lake. The officer’s report is available on the City’s website (Council Minutes - item 14.1).

Following Council’s decision to refuse the application, the applicant appealed the decision to the State Administrative Tribunal.

The City has since received advice the applicant is withdrawing their appeal. The proposed crushing facility building waste will not be proceeding.
