Background

The City of Cockburn is advertising for community feedback on a proposed Structure Plan for Lot 33 Ocean Road, Coogee.

The draft Structure Plan shows the proposed extension of Rasano Promenade and Prizba Rise (existing roads), and a zoning of ‘Residential R25’ (to facilitate the creation of residential lots/development of dwellings) and public open space.

Submissions

You are invited to make a submission by 9 July 2018.

    The proposal was advertised for a period of 28 days including letters (that included a copy of the proposed Structure Plan) being sent to 31 nearby landowners on Sokol Way, portions of Prizba Rise, Rasano Promenade, Chicho Way and Ocean Road.

    At its meeting on 9 August 2018 (OCM Minutes 09/08/18) Council resolved to recommend approval to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

    The WAPC Approved the Structure Plan 19 December 2018. The Approval document is available on the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage website and in the Documents Link
