Have your say on a proposed structure plan for a section of Armadale Road in Treeby


Background

This land has historically been used for sand quarrying and brick processing and it is now proposed to create a new residential estate on the 48 ha portion which is zoned for urban development. This is proposed to include:

  • 600-700 residential dwellings
  • a primary school,
  • 4.5 hectares of public open space including a district playing field;
  • and a local centre.

The remnant vegetation on the remaining portion of the land (approximately 12.3ha) will be part of Bush Forever Area site 390 and is not proposed for urban development.
