Consultation has concluded

We Asked:

The City sought community comment on a proposed Structure Plan for an area within Treeby. View a locality plan here. Some of this land has already been planned, such as the Calleya Estate. However some of the land to the east of Calleya has been indicated by the State Government as ‘urban investigation’. In these cases, the City’s approach has often been the preparation of a district structure plan to set out a number of expectations to guide developers in creating these areas for our future communities.

The proposed Structure Plan shows:

  • Broad land-use arrangement, buffers and any relevant targets (eg. density targets)
  • Coordination of major infrastructure including:
    • Schools
    • District water management
    • District movement networks
    • Regional and district level Open Space / conservation areas
    • District recreation facilities
  • Broad funding arrangements for improvements, potentially including the principles of a Development Contribution Plan.

You Said:

You provided a range of comments. Submissions were considered by Council at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 9 November 2017 (OCM Minutes 9/11/17). Thank you for your input.

We Did:

The District Structure Plan has now been approved.
