Background

The City seeks comment on proposed amendments to Local Planning Policy 3.4 ‘Service Stations’ (LPP 3.4), to provide additional guidelines on how applications for service stations are assessed.

The amendments to LPP 3.4 include additional considerations about buffer requirements stipulated under the Environmental Protection Authority Separation Distances between Industrial and Sensitive Land uses.

The aim is to provide applicants and the City with guidelines on how service station proposals are assessed given the recent increase in service station proposals within the City.
