Amendment to Local Planning Policy 3.4 Service Stations

The City seeks your comment on proposed amendments to Local Planning Policy 3.4 ‘Service Stations’ (LPP 3.4), to provide additional guidelines on how applications for service stations are assessed.

The proposed amendments to LPP 3.4 include additional considerations about buffer requirements stipulated under the Environmental Protection Authority Separation Distances between Industrial and Sensitive Land uses.

The aim is to provide applicants and the City with guidelines on how service station proposals are assessed given the recent increase in service station proposals within the City.

Submissions can be lodged on the online submission form below, by no later than 11 February 2019.

Please be aware that should you make a submission, Council may require a Schedule of Submissions to be prepared which includes a submitter’s name and address. This forms part of a Council Agenda report, which is available for public viewing (published in hard copy and on the City’s website). Please clearly state in your submission if you want your details to be kept confidential.
