Cockburn Central Planning Policy 5.6 - Vehicle Access

The policy is being amended to address emerging intersection and road upgrade requirements as a result of planning for the North Lake Road Bridge and Armadale Road deviation project, the Cockburn Central West precinct and emerging developments within the Cockburn Central North precinct.

The City of Cockburn is seeking comment on the Amendment to Local Planning Policy 5.6 – Vehicle Access until Monday 5pm, 8 October 2018.

The objective of the policy is to provide a framework for the planning and development of safe and efficient movement of motorists, public transport users, pedestrians and cyclists, where a coordinated approach to vehicle access is required.

A copy of the draft amendment is available for inspection at the City’s Administration Centre between 8.30am and 4.30pm, and can be downloaded from the City’s website Cockburn.wa.gov.au/notices.

Submissions can be lodged online below, by email to stratplanning@cockburn.wa.gov.au or in writing to the CEO on or before Monday, 8 October 2018.
