We have prepared several similar replacement options for each playground, and we want to know which one you prefer the most for your local park. The designs are concepts only.

Designs are based on providing similar types of play elements that currently exist at the playground. The program does not include adding new things like seating, shade or BBQs.

After the feedback period, we will replace the existing playgrounds with the preferred design in the 2021-22 financial year. For more information about the playground renewals schedule, read the FAQs.

    Thank you for your input

Residents were invited to choose their preferred design for each playground receiving a renewal in 2021-22. We heard from 263 people across Cockburn. Thank you for having your say.

Considering the feedback, the following designs were selected for installation:

    • Bloodwood Park - Option 2
    • Carlhausan Park - Option 4
    • Chorus Park - Option 3
    • Glen Mia Park - Option 1
    • Kinship Park - Option 2
    • Mervyn Bond Park - Option 3
    • Radonich Park - Option 3
    • Sycamore Park - Option 1
    • Tranquil Park - Option 4
    • Versailles Park - Option 4
    • Visko Park - Option 3
    • Wentworth Park - Option 4
    • Yarra Vista Park - Option 4
    • Zodiac Park - Option 1

Where options received an equal number of preferences, a selection was made based on accessibility for all ages and previous customer feedback. Option 2 was selected for Kinship Park due to a supplier withdrawal.

Equipment replacements will take place in the first and second quarter of 2022.
