Background
The City of Cockburn has received community requests to improve lighting along the footpath at Perena Rocchi Reserve, as residents often commute via the park to access Yangebup Road bus stops. The City has prepared three options considering the available budget, and invites you to have your say on your preferred option.
View the options
- Option A - Four lights along the footpath between Yangebup Road and Sandpiper Loop
- Option B - Eight lights along the footpath between Yangebup Road, Sandpiper Loop, and Grebe Gardens
- Option C - No lights.

About the lights
The lights are solar-powered overhead LEDs that are designed to minimise light-spill and dim automatically at night when no motion is detected. The lights produce 180-220 lumens per watt. They will be mounted to 4.5m powder-coated black columns and angled to illuminate the footpath. Due to frequent vandalism, the City is unable to consider solar bollard lights.
